No disrespect intended, perezfan, but how are Reds fans "long suffering"? At least you went to the Series, and won it all in 1990. Try being a Brewers fan. The last time Milwaukee celebrated a World Series win...I wasn't even born. And it was a different franchise.
And yes, I realize that a Cubs fan will be along shortly to tap me on the shoulder, saying "cry me a river. You think Brewers fans are long suffering? Come spend a day with me at Wrigley. A never-ending funeral marches around our hearts."
As for the playoffs, once the A's and Pirates went out, I lost all interest. I'll watch the Series because I'm a baseball fan, but if the Cardinals win it all again, I'll shove a fork in one of my eyes. I greatly respect the history of the franchise, and their fans are incredibly knowledgeable, but seeing them win it time and time again while my team comes out of the gate, and falls flat on their faces, just gets old. The Cardinals sport the nicest "Air Jordans" every year. The Brewers come out in their floppy shoes accompanied to the sounds of old car horns.
