For Sale: This original photo depicts the view of Forbes Field just prior to the first game of the 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates! Looks like both teams are ready to take the field and the media and photographers are collecting their gear and leaving the playing field. This photo displays amazing clarity and is in great condition. Photos from the 1927 World Series are very tough to find and is one of the nicest examples I have seen of the interior of Forbes Field!
