Could not agree more with that statement. Especially when putting cards in a permanent collection and not reselling, it's like finding treasure (or more cards!) when you expect to pay big for centering, and instead find it on a much less expensive card with say a rough corner. Was just able to pick up some nice 71s of Reggie and Ryan that way; PSA 7s but great centering.
Of course, if funds were infinite, I'd be begging Miller to sell me that Aaron 8

Or at least his 71 Ryan. Or 56 Mick. The list could go on...
By the way, MBM, I'd bet that Aaron could bump to 8.5 pretty easily!
