Im really tired of people taking Dummy Hoy for granted. I will live and still buy this book out of my love for baseball and N54.

Danny - Keep in mind the book's title: "100 Greatest
Games of the Nineteenth Century", not the 100 greatest people. There were many more submitted than the 100 finally settle upon. We were looking for significant games. Hoy's career and contributions are well-known. We may have missed something, but I don't see the tie-in to a particular greatest
game.
