Authentic is also the term PSA,SGC and Beckett use when a card is legitimate, but because of some of some other reason(usually an alteration of the card) it cannot be given a numerical grade. It's possible the forum member asking about your "authentic" wording was asking if maybe it had been label by one of the grading companies that way.
