C 1920s Dick Esrey GU bat.
For sale is a Dick Esrey game used bat. Dick played in the minor leagues only for several years in the 20s and 30s. This Bat was got a while back from Net54 DRC and its time it gets a new home, has a nail repair, some splinttering, but VERY nice. NEED To sell.
Found orig description when he sold it:
From the H & B Vaults. Full sized bat, with player name Esrey and the H & Label stamped in. Hard to read sidewriting, but the date 1927 is there. Even has the remnants of the mailing label from when the player mailed it in to H & B. Cracked in the handle with rapairs and bat nails. Shows lots of use, with pine tar remnants on the handle. I originally purchased this as part of a group lot of Pre War game usded minor league bats from MEARS. Dick Esrey played in the lower level minors 1920s-30s, including Corpus Christi, Cedar Rapids, Augusta. He was the only Esrey to play in the minors, making player identification simple.
