I agree, just leave it in Chicago every year. It is one non-stop flight from almost anywhere in the country.
From the West coast, AC or Baltimore are a hassle to get to. I am like Leon, I am there for the show and don't really care what is nearby. That said, the venue and set-up in Cleveland is a real armpit. Shuttles from hotels are a pain.
