Factoring in the BP makes it even more costly to place that one higher bid. I realize this is the way the game is played, but it would be easier to stay within budget and still win some cards if the bid increments were smaller (eg. $100 increments up to $10K). At the same time, you are less likely to get outbid if you lock up a strong bid level.
