Once again, we'll be having the Vancouver NW SABR (
www.sabr.org) meeting at Nat Bailey Stadium on August 17, 2013 from 1 to 4. Afterwards, get together at our house , followed by a game that night --with post-game fireworks.

It's always been a fun event, and is open to all, SABR member or not. No admission. A number of our speakers have been featured on vintage baseball cards: from Ernie Kershaw (Vancouver peanuts) to Arnie Hallgren and Bill Whyte (Vancouver popcorn), as well as some AAA players more recent and a couple major leaguers (Ossie Chevarria and Simon Pond)
Two hours and twenty five minutes from downtown Seattle if you time the border right or get a Nexus pass (should be mandatory for those in the NW !!
