I have seen cases/shelving made for displaying plates, china and such, that have indentions in the flat horizontal shelves to stand the plates up. Those might work. My wife collects miniature demitasse tea/coffee cups. We have them in a big display case with small wire tripod stands that are readily available at any crafts store. I recommend going to a crafts store and just walking around...I bet you will see something that will work.
