I went and wrote a message to Heritage Auctions. The more I think about it, the more problematic the listing can be.

While it has been shown at least SOME of the high numbers were packaged in blue and red wrapping, it cannot be proven that they weren't also packaged in the red and green wrapper.

But if they WERE it would not be possible to distinguish them from earlier series offerings, since only the first series wrappers had any distinguishing characteristic, an advert for felt emblems which was replaced by one for team pennants.

Without opening the pack, they cannot claim with absolute certitude that the pack is a high series one, as it can just as easily be a series 2-5 pack. The difference in value would be tremendous.

What do you all suppose a proven, verifiable high series sealed wax pack would go for? Regular packs I've see go for 5 or 10 grand...safe to say a high number pack would be 20-25k?
