Default SOLD: 1934 Goudey Gehrig No. 37

This card is from a collection I'm selling that was tucked away for the past 30-40 years by an old-school collector who cared little to nothing about third-party grading, Internet chat boards or set registries.

I recently submitted four Goudey Ruths and Gehrigs to SGC, and the grade on this one left me scratching my head. Though the card certainly is the worst condition of the four, when I submitted it I didn't think it would receive a 1. Creasing is the only problem I see, and rest assured that the creases look worse in my scans than they do in person. I've looked at the front and back under magnification and see no paper loss.

Obviously there's a reason for the technical grade, and I'm not questioning that. I just know that the card looks better than a typical 1. Folks who base their buying on VCP numbers will have no interest in this card at this price, and that's fine. I don't have it priced as an SGC 1, simple as that.

Price is $xxx.xx delivered in the United States.

Check or money order preferred; PayPal is OK.

A commitment to buy takes precedence over an ongoing negotiation.

Feel free to email any questions.

Thanks,

Rob
