So far as the cancer goes, my dad died of lung cancer and I miss him, but there are a lot of other factors that may have conceivably made those cigarettes safer...like no additives in the tobacco, less processed paper, and whatever in the hell they put in the filters. With other factors in turn of the century life a lot of those guys never lived to be old enough to get lung cancer. And even if they hadn't I don't think any of them would still be around today. It is interest and we will never know because even if the data had been collected, and it wasnt, it would have almost certainly been corrupted by the tobacco companies.
As to the cabinet, its is neat. If I had a place to put it, I might think about it. I think it is reasonably priced and will pretty much always hold its value. I don't even think you could have a replica built from the ground up for much less unless you were handy with wood.
