Went to a local auction yesterday. There was a signed (allegedly) by Mickey Mantle bat with a COA from the great Christopher "I never saw an autograph I didn't like" Morales. It went for $145.00. When the guy who won it realized that no one else was bidding, he knew something was wrong and started asking around. I think he was still trying to get his money back when I left. This is an auction frequented by a lot of flea market vendors, so I have seen a lot of similar garbage purchased there. Good to see that the word is finally filtering down to these folks about Morales and his ilk.
