Maybe someone did mention this earlier, but WHAT PROOF do we even have that it is "a Shoeless Joe" bat piece, Ruth uniform swatch, etc etc. As we have seen on autographs, a "leap of faith" sometimes can get you to land in a bottomless abyss.
