As stated, it does take practice and you do have to care. I'm a pretty good natural speller but I still always look words up in the dictionary, just to be sure. I pointed out to the powers that be, at work, that their new sign for the Receiving Dock, already installed for the world to see, was spelled incorrectly.
Recieving Dock doesn't say much about a company's eye for detail, now does it?
