Default Help on Baseball Bats, Gehringer

These bats were used in 1954 for a team my Dad coached and I played on the team. They were donated by the local bar for our team.

All have wear and would like to find out if there is any value? I used a magnifying glass to read what I could, the bats seem to be from the 1930 -1947 era.

#1, Louisville Slugger 40 CGS Flame Tempered, Special Chas Gehringer
34 inch, 34 oz , 34G on end

#2 Louisville Slugger 125 CGS, Hillerich & Bradsby CO, Made in USA
Louisville KY Trademark Reg
34 inch, 35 oz
Note: I had this bat signed by HOF Pitcher Hal Newhouser at a card show.

#3 Louisville Slugger 125 CGS, Hillerich $ Bradsby CO, Made in USA
Louisville KY Trademark Reg Powerized
33 inch, 31 oz

I'm pretty sure the CGS is for Chas Gehringer Special

Cannot read the Chas Gehringer on bat 2 or 3.

Here are some pics.

Thanks Joe
