Yep, if you are buying them to sell, many of the photo collectors here seem to require PSA/Henry's approval; otherwise, they have little faith in what they are buying.
Not sure what folks did with photos prior to that
What you'll find though, if you are planning to keep them, is that there are plenty of experts right here in this forum who can provide all the assistance you need - in fact, probably more.
