Default FS: Trenton Tri-State Baseball Supplement,1860's Union Base-Ball Club of Morrisiana

Here are two Early Base Ball items for sale:

1.Here is a FANTASTIC piece for the early baseball collector and historian.A supplement to THE NORTH AMERICAN of the Trenton Tri-State Base Ball Team. It has some staining(see photos), but I bought this in Penn. back in 1992 and have displayed it on my wall ever since. It has not gotten any worse and this is the frame it was in, I will ship it in the frame as shown(hence the shipping cost) The team members are as follows:

Top L-R: Magoon,Mattern,Hoey,Matthews,Murray,Stem,Strobel

Bottom L-R: McCarthy,Hartman,Moran,Lawson,Cannell and Manager John Carney

NOTICE: Al Mattern is one of the players. On Sept 16, 1908 he would leave Trenton to play for the Boston Doves as a pitcher. He played his last game for the Boston Braves in 1912.

Herbie Moran, went to the Boston Doves as well on Sept 12, 1908, played for the Braves, Brooklyn Dodgers,Cinn Reds, HE WAS PART OF THE 1914 MIRICLE BRAVES who won the World Series that year.

Topsy Magoon played with John McGraw in Baltimore, then, by 1902 he played with Cinn Reds, having an impressive .272 batting average, finished his major league career with the White Sox and then going to the Trenton Tigers in Minor League.

The Trento Tigers were a great feeder team for the majors and this team pictured was one of the best. The uniform details are amazing!
