Hmm, there seems to be a flaw in that formula. If I understand your rationale you are employing this methodology: trimmed card value = untrimmed card value * (100-(pct of card remaining)). Under that rationale if the card has been trimmed and only 50% remained it would be worth 50% of the untrimmed value.

While that is a noble attempt I have designed my own personal valuation methodology which I prefer and has stood the test of time: trimmed card value = untrimmed card value * zero.
