"Abba Dabba" Jim Tobin
Here is yet another snapshot of Jim Tobin taken while playing for the Boston Braves. Tobin threw one official no-hitter as well as an unofficial no hitter (called after 5 innings) in 1944.
An interesting side note is that in his 9 inning no-hitter on April 27th, 1944 he also hit two HR's. Tobin hit 17 HR's in his short career. The guy could swing it!
