Thanks for the image. I haven't seen that one before. I'll add it to my site later as well.
I understand that these stamps could be added in modern times. But with no value being added to the cards by stamping them I don't see why anyone in modern times would deface their cards this way. This is why I see them all as being done long ago by old collectors. They tell a story about the card. What collection it was in. Who owned it. Plus, some of the stamps are just really cool. You don't have to like them. And by all means, please pass them up when you see them so that we can get them at nice cheap prices.
