ca. 1912 Booklet Advertising How to Pitch Curves
Cool item here. It's about a 20 page catalog with books/pamphlets available for candy stores to buy. The back cover is for the booklet How to Pitch Curves and has photos of Ed Walsh, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Joe Wood, Nap Rucker and Doc White. Under each photo it tells each pitcher's specialty. Also states, "Special Offer" - we've reduced the price of this book from $1.00 to .30 cents so as to place it within reach of all, especially "Young America".
The rest of the books are about topics like boxing, early radio, jokes and more.
Measures approximately 5 x 8. Nice item - I would think this catalog is tougher to find than the How to Pitch Curves booklet itself.
