First is to make a high quality color photocopy of the back and frame them side by side under a type 1 or similar. A couple of years ago, during the Presidents weekend, we were in D.C. and went to the National Archives. This is the only weekend per year that the original handwritten Emancipation Proclamation is displayed. Because Lincoln wrote the speech on both sides of the paper, this is how they display the whole document.

Second idea is to pt the check in a holder of some sort with small hole drilled in the ends. Have the framer make an opening in the frame under the picture a little bit wider than the holder. Put 2 small pegs on either side of the opening and place the pegs through the openings in the holder so that it is able to rotate. If you want to see the other side of the check, you would lift the bottom of the frame away from the wall a little and just flip the holder.

The first idea is easier, but I think the second would look pretty cool in action.

These are two great ideas Mark..although the second option is creative and fun, I think the first option would be the best. The key is to figure out how to make the copy side look realistic.
