There are a TON of hotels around the convention center, so that shouldn't be an issue. Harry Caray's is a ten minute cab ride. Wrigley isn't too far if you take the L train. We've been there more than a few times and really like the area.

I totally agree. But, for whatever reason, people don't seem to want to take the L train or cab to go anywhere.
