Although I wouldn't bid on this one, I've had pretty good luck lately picking up faded, poorly-described balls with lousy pictures for bargain prices. A "1940s signed baseball" included Minnie Minoso, Luke Easter, Bucky Harris and Jimmie Reese (from the 1949 Padres of the PCL), and a "1960s Reds Ball" turned out to include everyone from the 1956 Reds, who set the home run record that year. Both balls looked terrible in the listing, but surprisingly decent when they arrived ...
