Hey Andy
Grand Slam Bids is, and has been, on auto pilot for the last several months to a year. There are still cards there and there have been a few sales but not a lot. Only fixed price have sold in the last year or more, which are the only ones that make sense right now. We truly believe the s/w is excellent but it will take more marketing than we have been able to do, to be successful . Also, there were merger talks with another company that never took place and that took several months. For the future we might look at some licensing but not sure how much it will grow.
One last point, as was stated, the site started out quite nicely, but soon most folks just went back to ebay. I can't say I blame them necessarily as I wouldn't want something on there to lose money for it's owner. But it is what it is and the momentum died down fairly quickly. I did some auctions of cards I owned on the site and did so-so. I am not sure there have been any other sites that have gotten traction as self serve (true) auction venues other than the bay. The site is still fully functional except for some admin email issues I have been having
