How many T206 Wagner's exist?
I'm sure this has been discussed several times before on these boards, but I couldn't find a thread that focused on it in the archives. I'm interested in hearing some guesses on how many of these still exist. I've seen estimates of 50-100, and while 100 seems high, 50 seems a lot more reasonable. With finds like the e98 Black Swamp Find, it makes me wonder if there are other raw copies of the T206 Wagner out there somewhere under a doll house.
Here are the numbers I could track down using some obvious sources:
SGC - Sweet Caporal = 10
PSA - Sweet Caporal = 10
PSA - Misc Backs (ie. Piedmont or SC) = 22
total that I can account for = 42
Are there any in BVG or GAI holders? Would you guys guess that there are still raw examples out there?
