Having put together what I thought was a nice mid grade red near set (missing only Cobb and Lajoie), I am sick over this find. Jealous? Yes. Sick? Totally. To answer the question about the values of the E98s and specifically the red E98s, only time will tell but with all those high grade E98 reds floating around, I am sure glad my interest in the reddies was based on aesthetics and not rarity
Please note how many red Lajoies were found, or Lajoies in general. I stupidly and naively sold an SGC 40 red Lajoie four years ago (hello Rob D) before I tried collecting the red subset and have spent the last 4 years looking for a decent one, to no avail. The red Lajoie may be, IMHO and now reaffirmed by the Black Swamp Find, the rarest E98 of them all.
