Wanted: T206 PSA 1's and 2's...
Posted By: Lee
Hello,

I have 2 T206's for sale. First is a Hughie Jennings Old Mill SGC 30 for $80 shipped. Second is a Art Fletcher PSA 4 for $50. I'll do $125 shipped for both. E-mail me for scans, both are appropriate and nice for the grades.

Thanks,
Lee

Wanted: T206 PSA 1's and 2's...
Posted By: Mike
Really trying to stay in the $15-$25 range per common (which is why I'm shooting low for the PSA 1s and 2s). Thank you though!

Wanted: T206 PSA 1's and 2's...
Posted By: Mike
I was planning on sticking to just PSA graded. Not really a company preference (I actually like the SGC cases much better), but I thought they would be more available than SGC graded cards.

Want to get it crossed over for me? Or convince me to go with SGC instead? =)

Wanted: T206 PSA 1's and 2's...
Posted By: T206Collector
...you really ought to be going with SGC. It may be that PSA graded T206 cards are more plentiful, but by and large you will be much happier with the SGC graded T206 cards out there, in terms of consistency of grading and quality of service. I would recommend you do as I do -- pick up your PSA, GAI, BVG's along the way, and then when SGC has its $6 crossover special, get them all crossed over.

Buying PSA graded cards because PSA has graded more cards is not a good enough reason alone to stick with PSA, especially when it's not like SGC hasn't graded its fair share of T206 cards.

Finally, consider that many of the PSA graded T206 cards you find out there are just cards that wouldn't cross over to SGC because of condition problems.

Wanted: T206 PSA 1's and 2's...
Posted By: Mike
Because at least two other people emailed me with basically the same sentiments. I think it might be worth it to just do both so that I'm not prevented from buying a card just because of the case it's in. Thanks guys...

Ok, I now re-open the floor for cheap SGC cards too!

Posted By: RayB
Mike,
Don't listen to the right or the left on the holder wars!
Just buy the card. (Seems I've heard that one once or twice?)

Any card in any grade in any holder (1's,2's or 3's) will have it's issues. Try to make decisions, initially, based on the cards singular eye appeal first. Once, and if, you accumulate enough card to represent a real run at the set, and want to have all the cards graded in a common slab, choose your allegiance on the various merits.

I'll be Switzerland and say that you can't really go wrong ultimately choosing either SGC or PSA but first let it be about the cards.
Enjoy your T-206 quest.
I do!
RayB

Oh...on topic...I have a PSA 1 Marquard for sale in a different post here in B/S/T if interested. Thanks.
