T205 backs
Posted By: david manns
I was going through my "set in progress" of t205's and have 11 of the 12 minor league players. I found that there are only 2 different back types on the ones that I have, being "Hassan" and "Polar Bear". Does anyone know why that is or are there other backs and I just don't have any of them.

Just wandering!

Posted By: Art M.
The 12 T205 cards featuring the minor league players were only issued with Polar Bear and Hassan back brands. Polar bear is a little easier to find for the minor leaguers.

Posted By: Don
Interesting that the minor leagures are Polar Bear or Hassan only.

I think that is also the case for the Graham and Shean Cubs variations.

Can anyone confirm that? Are there any others with only these two backs?

Posted By: J Levine
I can confirm that the minor leaguers only come with a Hassan 30 or 649 back...Shean only comes with a those backs but my file says that Graham cubs might come with a Piedmont 25 back in addition to the two Hassan and Polar Bear back. Now this is from my first bit of research (15 years ago) so I do not have a scan of the Graham so I am not sure.

Several players only appear with certain backs...i.e. several of the single prints only seem to come with Piedmont 25 and Hassan 30 backs (Suggs, Raymond jump to mind).

Joshua

Posted By: Don
There are several minor leaguers on ebay with Polar Bear backs. I'm pretty sure all of them come with Hassan or Polar Bear. Not sure about both the Cubs though.

T205 backs
Posted By: leon
Generally speaking you might start a new thread rather than bring back a 5yr old one. Sometimes the folks in those old threads are no longer around and they get asked questions. It's not a big deal and there is no real rule against it, but it's preferred to just start a new thread. Good questions and thanks for your paricipation... take care
