Pre Grading with a 30X Loupe
 

Posted By: <b>Neil</b><p>I am curious to hear the stories of the experts.<br><br>Anyone have any great stories?<br><br>I recently grabbed a raw 65 Mantle pegged is an 8 with a loupe sent it in to PSA and got a 7. I have another PSA 8 at home and under the loupe the 7 looks better.

Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>I don't know, but would guess that 30x is stronger than they use in grading. I would guess they use 10x for grading.<br><br>A 30x magnifier is good to have on hand, helpful for judging authenticity and identifying fakes.
