My grandfather worked at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park as a host and valet for several years. When I was young, he would take me there and show me around. I remember meeting Eddie Logan who my grandfather introduced as a former boxer and ballplayer. I asked if he was in the major leagues (remember, I was young---7 or 8) and I remember him saying, &quot;nope, something better.&quot;<br><br>Eddie was a fixture at Santa Anita and I am sure he will be missed by many.<br><br>Joshua
