Can anyone tell me the date of Mantle's last homerun??

Posted By: Eric Brehm
I would say redefine 'vintage' baseball cards to include issues of the 1950's and 1960's, but that's just me. It is a big hobby, so everyone has to skip over the discussion of things they aren't interested in anyhow.

Now the question about Mantle's homer isn't about baseball cards at all, but about baseball history. Is baseball history on-topic or off-topic? Or is it on-topic only if it relates to the career of a pre-war player? After all, there is a thread running here now (albeit labelled "O/T") about the current state of the NBA. How can that be more relevant than a question about Mickey Mantle?
