Not sure if it will increase the hammer price but it will get more looks because of the sheer amount of words (text).

I know it is a choice -- but since it frequently keeps ridiculous listings in, I almost never do it. 95+% of the searches I do on Ebay are in the titles only. Yes -- I know that I may miss some esoteric, mislisted items as a result, but I don't like spending hours sorting through all the garbage...

Some ebay Advertisers/Affiliates will include the MOST VIEWED auctions from certain catagories on their sites which will get his auction more exposure. </p><p>If you take a quick look at the description of this card, you notice the SET checklist is inlcuded which will get a lot of searches as will the mention of Jack Johnson (boxer). In reality its keyword spamming and could get the boot if someone reported it to eBay but personally, I'm not that anal. It bugs me but not to the point that I would want the guy to loose his insertion fee (bad choice of words.. how 'bout Listing FEE).</p><p>marty</p>
