Posted By: <b>Dave S</b><p>Not all Bond have clipped corners, some are squared. Measurements the seller lists are correct and they were blank-backed. Keep in mind that Bond had different formats, i.e. &quot;homogenized&quot; (which this would be)came in the bread, &quot;exhibits&quot; were sold in arcade machines and were a bit bigger, and the &quot;premiums&quot; were much larger.<br>The &quot;homogenized&quot; were widely re-printed but I believe this one looks real.

Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>There have been several threads on this set. I think the consensus now is that the square corner ones are not original to 1947. I believe Ted mentioned that a few of the cards were reissued in the early 50s with square corners, and these can be distinguished from the more recent reprints by the color of the stock. Do a search on this website for previous threads about this. There is a lot more information.

This follow-thru batting pose of Ted was very popular in the 1940's.<br><br>All 48 cards in this set that were issued in Bond Bread packages have beveled corners. Posted By: <b>Tony Galovich</b><p>The price is a dead giveaway<br>I'll pay $20 all day long for ANY Ted Williams card from this era in the same grade as that card.<br>I doubt if I even get one offer<br>As there are NO Ted Williams cards for $20 from the 40's era, even a 1947-66 Exhibit Williams in low grade sells for more than that<br>Just use common sense<br>If this card was in a SGC or PSA slab it would be a $200++ card all day long<br>Remember, there is No Santa Klaus in the kard hobby<br>You get what you pay for 99.9% of the time<br>Of course we do get lucky once in a while
