I am not sure if their are many other Averill collectors out there as I have only run into one other. During that time I have become friends with one of his sons and have they have graciously shared numerous photographs and news articles.

Posted By: <b>fkw</b><p>Zeenuts were often played with in a game where they would throw them against the wall and the closest would win the lot (I forget the name of the game). Posted By: <b>Bob</b><p>I wonder if the Zeenuts from the 20's and 30's are more beaten up because they are so unattractive compared to the ones from the early years and therefore there was less compulsion about banging them up against walls and curbs to play the "Zeenut game".<br />
