Posted By: <b>andy becker</b><p>hi zinn,<br />your eyes are fine. however, the baseball backs (they say the same thing) are on plain cardboard. the actresses are on a "chipboard" cardboard back. <br />i have never seen a baseball player with the chipboard backing. i am 99.99% certain that these are fakes. <br />

Turkey Red (baseball) backs can have a frame or not.....they come both ways.<br /><br />actress silks (turkey red, old mill, and red sun) can all have the frame....and i believe that they all come only with the frame....i could be wrong there, as i only have a few actress silks (all have the frame), but i do not actively collect actress silks. <br /><br />no baseball series has ever been documented with the chipboard back.

Posted By: <b>Bob C</b><p>Andy/All,<br />Have you seen this seller's addition to his description and new scans of the backs for the s74 auctions?<br />Now he's saying actress scans were posted "in error" and has now posted the correct reverse scans.<br />the fronts still look funny as fraying t&b do not appear to match reverse cardboard showing through.<br />Your take, if any?<br />

Posted By: <b>andy becker</b><p>the auctions are over, i did not see the additional scans prior to now.<br /><br />i would still be very leary of these silks....i asked the seller the question and his response was not that there was a scanning (listing) error.<br /><br />the silks not matching up with the backs are reason enough to stay away. <br /><br />they did bring huge $$$$'s <br />
