Grading card question
Posted By: Bob
If you buy a graded PSA card and crack it open but take digital pictures of it first, then submit it to SGC and they say that it has been altered, if you send the card back to PSA withe the pictures what are the chances it will be graded again? With the same grade? Just curious....

Posted By: Matt
I don't think the pictures will have any bearing whatsoever on what grade it receives; they have no idea what you did to the card while it was cracked out.

Grading card question
Posted By: Bob
So, hypothetically, if I won a PSA 4 card in an auction and a corner looked funny and I cracked it and sent it to SGC and they felt it was altered, I would be SOL and dependent on PSA to grade it as a 4 again? Perhaps the thing to do would be to send it to SGC and a cross-over?
