Posted By: <b>Dustin</b><p>I'm gonna start by saying I'm just getting started trying to build my t206 collection, still learning, and have a long way to go; so, you may want to take this with a grain of salt. lol I was doing some reading in Scot Reader's "Inside T206" guide, and he said when the cards were printed the colors were applied in the following order: yellow, black, brown, blue, green, and lastly red. If this is true, I feel like maybe it is because they ran out/ran low of the red ink at some process during the printing. Just a thought. - Dustin

Posted By: <b>Ted Zanidakis</b><p>I have two "red" Cobb's with Orange backgrounds....one is real sharp and this one has a "snowflake" effect (due to chipping).<br /><br />The RED ink was usually the last pass of the 6-color printing process. Many of these ORANGE cards are simply the result of <br />the printer's rushing the process and omitting the the last inking phase.<br /><br />I also have Merkle, O'Leary, Snodgrass, and Tinker with Orange backgrounds.<br /><br /><br />I'm curious......my two Cobb's are Sweet Caporal 350 Factory #30......what are your ORANGE one's ?<br /> <br /><br /><img src="http://www.freephotoserver.com/v001/tedzan/cobborange.jpg"><br /><br /><br /><br />TED Z
