The green ones have the gold applied, but have suffered a chemical reaction with their environmental storage for nearly 100 years and basically changed colors.<br /><br />Scott

Posted By: <b>dan mckee</b><p>I have green bordered ones that I got in a raw single owner family collection where the other several hundred were gold so I am not sure the aging idea works here. All cards were stored the same way for years and only 2 were green bordered. Dan.
