Posted By: davidcycleback
The 1960 Fleer #40 error (Joe Tinker on front/Pepper Johnson stats on back) is one of the key and toughest post-war ultra rarities. It's rarer than a 1948 Leaf Satchel Paige Rookie

Posted By: Anthony N.
David, I think you mean 1960 Fleer #80, which comes with Pepper Martin on the back, and either Tinker, Grove, or Collins on the front.

And I'll agree with his Delong being the nicest, although I really like his Diamond Star as well.
Posted By: Frank Wakefield
I have 3 or 4 Martin cards...

I've always liked the look of that Diamond Star card. It really does fit the period and the spirit of the high flyin' Redbirds, The Gashouse Gang.

If one isn't posted here in the next couple of days, I'll dig mine out and scan it. A nice looking card!!

Posted By: Chris Counts
This Wheaties panel is certainly not the most sought-after Pepper Martin, but it's one of my favorites ...
