Posted By: Phil B
OK I'm bitter because I'm bailing out and am not going to get this card. But- does anyone find it strange that a PSA 2 with front paper loss and a pin hole qualifies for the half point bump? I bet I could submit thousands of cards to PSA under my name and never get a half point bump with paper loss and pin hole. I have to conclude that special treatment is given to known/friendly/bulk submitters.

Posted By: Anonymous
I agree with you all. The card was nice looking and I bid based on the card and not the grade. But as to the matter of what qualifies a card for a half point bump (for those interested in grading) one would think that a pin hole and front paper loss do not get the bump- and certainly not for the average Joe submitter.

Posted By: dan mckee
Come on guys, the pinhole doesn't matter near as much as who submitted it.

Posted By: Rob D.
I'm sure it did receive a "bump" but isn't it possible that it was submitted raw just recently and received the (questionable) 2.5 on its first try? Had anyone seen this card previously graded?

Posted By: cmoking
nice looking card. if i was bidding on it, the number wouldn't matter too much to me. the people bidding on the card are probably not registry people, so don't blame it on them.

Posted By: Tim Kinserlow
While the card presents really well, the hole bothers me from the grading aspect.

Does anyone have any knowledge on how pinholes are looked upon at PSA? Is it not the grounds for a PSA 1? I thought it was, but maybe I am wrong. Anyone care to chime in on this?

Posted By: quan
i think pinholes can go as high as a 2 these days. the plowboy chance had a pinhole and that got an sgc30 also...half grades are a joke imo so i usually just ignore the extra .5
