Posted By: David Seaborn
I received it yesterday, took one look at it and could tell it had been rebacked. Also, the "hairline crack" that he described was actually two section of the card in the top left corner that were completely separate from the rest of the card and had been reattached to the new back.

Posted By: Fred C
I've heard a different story. I heard his brother had over a hundred OJs that he found while cleaning out a house. He then ended up selling the lot (minus a few cards, these two are from that lot).

In any case, go ahead and bid on the cards, you'll just get jacked up by his shill. I'm guessing the reserve on the cards is over $600 each. The guy is a real winner. I think he owns a Pizza joint somewhere in PA.

Posted By: David Smith
It is funny to me how dragger929 won these cards, paid over $1,000 for them and left positive Feedback and yet, here they are again being sold by the same seller.

I also love how he has added the line about his auctions NOT being shill bid. Funny how dragger929 does NOT seem to be bidding on these cards. I wonder why??

David

Posted By: Fred C
Give the seller time, there's plenty of time left in the auction. If dragger929 doesn't shill the auction then I'm sure we can find a clue to who the shill will be.

Posted By: David Smith
I reported phillyconection1 and dragger929 to eBay fro shill bidding and here is the response that I received back.

"Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your concern that
phillyconection1 and dragger929 are engaging in Shill Bidding.

We thoroughly investigated your report, but at this time there isn't
enough evidence to show that a violation has taken place. We can reopen
the investigation if we receive additional information."

Not enough evidence?? dragger929 has mostly only bid on auctions that phillyconection1 has had on eBay.

dragger929 WON the two Old Judge cards from phillyconection1 and LEFT POSITIVE FEEDBACK yet phillyconection1 has the cards and are again auctioning them off. It would seem if a deal for over $1,000 fell through, phillyconection1 would leave a NEGATIVE for dragger929 and NOT allow them to bid in any more of their auctions.

dragger929 has bid on and won numerous Hess Oil toys from phillyconection1. In one instance, it looks like they have won FOUR OF THE EXACT SAME ITEM.

Not coincidentally, phillyconection1 ALSO has bid on and won Hess Oil toys on eBay.

In conclusion, it again looks like eBay investigators don't know their butts from a hole in the ground and are allowing scam artists to get away with defrauding the public, all in the name of higher profits.

David
