Baseball Related Cards
Posted By: Paul
Leon's post about the Lowney's autocar got me thinking about cards with some relationship to pre war cards. Here's a postcard of the A.C. Dietsche shop in Detroit. Would love to see some other pre war baseball related cards or items.

Baseball Related Cards
Posted By: Joe_G.
This is a copy of a post I shared with the Non-Sport Forum awhile back. They helped me identify several interesting items in the store.

A neat photo described as being from a Grand Haven, MI Store with 1913/14 date written on back and for which the content certainly supports.

Some "Hersheys Sweet Milk Chocolate", "Imperial Italian Squares" and much more. Most of the items in the store are candy or mints.

"Bull Durham" tobacco sign, "Stag Tobacco" in 5 cent tin, and more.

Perhaps the neatest close-up with the 2nd shelf from top (shelf below the pipes) including OBAK (2 rows on top of each other near left side) and FATIMA (right of center) packs with the far right being Omar paper packs (not Old Judge).

"Riz La + Cigarette Paper" poster.

And lastly, some kind of mechanized popcorn or possibly a peanut machine. Notice the figurine on top.

Best Regards,
Joe Gonsowski
