T204 question

Posted By: Pete Z.
I came across a Murnane at a local antique show in g-vg condition (let's say g), and the guy wanted $325. Does he sell for a premium (not according to the guide, which lists one in vg condition at $125)? What's a good price for the card?

Thanks

T204 question

Posted By: Phil Garry
Murnane is a HOF'er and his T204 card is his only career contemporary card so that is why many people may pay a premium. If the card is not graded, you also have to be very careful as many of the T204's have been touched up with color and/or trimmed.

Posted By: Mark T
Well, VCP does not list him as a H.O.F.

but, if your card was to be graded a PSA 2 then the guy is asking too much. one sold for in Aug. 2007 for 224.00 graded a PSA 2.
