Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>I don't think the Catalog is accurate for card prices at all. I don't even use it as a price reference anymore. I've found that the Novelty Cutlery prices like many sets are mostly directly proportional to the players star power. For example, Cobb 7x a common, Honus 6x, Matty 5x, Plank 2.5x, etc... Those are just rough estimates. The prices can be all over the map.

Posted By: <b>fkw</b><p>Many "Type Card" collectors dont care if the example card they have in their collection is a common player or a star, so sometimes the rarer sets have a narrower gap in the values between HOFers and commons.<br /><br />

I do think they should be more in line with other PC issues but who really uses to book to "buy" anyway.
