Ruth card - Exhibit or not ?
Posted By: Steve Parmentier
I recently picked up this Ruth card labeled as 1926-1929 Exhibits. Yet the back looks like a standard postcard and specifically reads, "Not to be used in Exhibit Machines."

Based on what the card says, I would conclude it is a postcard, not an Exhibit card. So why does PSA label it as an Exhibit?

Confused, Steve.

Ruth card - Exhibit or not ?
Posted By: Steve Parmentier
Thanks for input.

So it sounds as if not all exhibits came out if machines, correct?

Is it likely that this card was just sitting in a postcard rack with all the other postcards at the corner store?

Or more a promo item with possible redemption by the store clerk?

Steve

Ruth card - Exhibit or not ?
Posted By: Jim
Likely manufactured by a competitor of Exhibit supply Company, possibly Evans L.A. Card would probably jam if used in an Exhibit machine.
