Posted By: <b>S Gross</b><p>Many years ago, long before vintage cards, I saw in a Cooperstown Collection catalog, a 1920's Vernon Tiger logo. It struck me as absolutely great, in that it was sooooooooo era, sooooooooo art-deco, and it was a baseball teams actual logo. I had forgotten about it until I picked up this 1923 Vernon Zeenut, with the logo showing:<br /><br /><img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a296/mybuddyinc/23zdoyle.jpg"> <img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a296/mybuddyinc/vernlogo.jpg"><br /><br />I was just wondering if any of you zeenuters or pclers out there who have a better zeenut with this logo, or any other item that shows it ?????<br /><br /><br />Way cool (like, I mean, Balt. Fed. logo cool)

Posted By: <b>Matthew</b><p>That is one of the many reasons I love the Zeenuts. Lots of cool uniforms. I also like the Tigers uniforms that have "VERNON" running vertically down the placket. I will try to find a scan later. By the way Scott, where did you get that cool Z? <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14><br /><br />
