Posted By: Paul
Sorry for the delay. Here's a 1922 Zeenut Lazzeri, along with his two Golden Quality Ice Cream cards from 1943. These are Lazzeri's first and last cards. Kind of like bookends.

Anyone have a scan of a 1922 Tony Lazzeri Zeenut?
Posted By: brian
I just read this on a website:

"In 1925, Lazzeri hit .355 at Salt Lake City with 60 HR and 222 RBIs"

I thought Hack Wilson held the RBI record in the majors and minors? 222 is an insane total!

Anyone have a scan of a 1922 Tony Lazzeri Zeenut?
Posted By: Frank Wakefield
Lazzeri's 222 RBI's is good for 3rd place in the minors, single season...

2nd place, Joe Bauman, with Roswell in the Longhorn League, 224 RBI's in 1954.

1st place, Bob Crues, Amarillo, West Texas New Mexico League, 254 RBI's in 1948. He hit .404 that year, 69 HRs, 228 hits, in 140 games. Lazzeri's 1925 season with Salt Lake City had him in 197 games. Beautiful weather out there in the PCL.
